Psalm 18:30 “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”
There may have been plenty of times in our lives when we have refused to do what God wanted, because we thought our plan would work better.
In some cases our plans were probably a disaster, as we look back wishing we would have done God’s will instead.
The advantage God has is that He can see the entire picture, clearly.
His way takes into account past, present and future, while ours can only potentially reflect on past and present. Sometimes we fail even to do that!
God’s way is always [always] right, because He sees and knows all things that we can neither see nor know.
If we are struggling with doing God’s will today, we should come to the understanding that He has our best interest at heart, and will never lead us astray.
As soon as we realize this fully, we will take the actions He requires, and thank Him for the results.
He is our help and our defense – but we must trust.
