Psalm 56:3-4 “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
Those of us who are Americans rarely find ourselves in fear of people determined to hurt us. We are more likely to find ourselves in fear of circumstances.
The unknown or the uncertain are more likely to keep us awake at night fearing for the future.
No matter the case, we can embrace the solution outlined here. A heart that firmly trusts in God repels fear.
Nothing in this world can afflict us that has not passed through God first.
He is above all and aware of all. He is the One that holds all in existence together and will not allow a sinful world to spin out of control and crush us.
The child of God has no cause for fear from people or circumstances. We are in the hands of God and His hands are trustworthy and sure.
No matter the fear today, let us remember this.
Psalm 56:3-4 “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
