Proverbs 2:3-5 “Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”
The most common reason we don’t search for knowledge is that we believe we have already found it.
Our minds often made up by what we see, hear, or formulate by our own intelligence.
We come to each subject already believing we know the answers to the questions.
This is human nature. If it were not, would we need this exhortation from scripture?
Remember that even a wise and eloquent servant will always admit he lacks knowledge.
Be wary of those who claim to have plumbed the depths of Bible truth, grasping even the smallest detail.
These men do not likely seek after knowledge in the way that the Bible commands.
Keep searching and seeking answers to the tough questions, knowing many may remain just beyond our grasp.
