Proverbs 3:19 “The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.”
I wonder if we have ever taken a moment to think about how much God knows?
If there is anything to be known in the world, He not only understands, but He invented it.
Engineering, chemistry, geometry, physics, and every other academic pursuit or intellectual exercise.
It can all be traced back to His plan and His creative hand.
He has every ounce knowledge that could ever be attained on every subject.
What a wonderful thought! Our knowledge of the world should not be based on text books alone. We can seek for knowledge of all kinds in His book, the Bible.
If a subject is touched upon in scripture we can guarantee its accuracy, because it comes from the only One who knows everything.
It is a history book with eyewitness accounts that can be trusted. We approach scientific evidence with an understanding, first, of its text.
It is accepted by faith, of course, but proven reliable by centuries of rigorous testings.
We trust the scripture, because it is the word of the One who knows.
