Titus 2:4-5 “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”
Some older women make it a policy to teach in both word and lifestyle.
They do this out of concern for the younger generation and in the process fulfill a Biblical mandate.
There are portions of this passage that directly contradict worldly thought. Young women committed to thinking differently need examples.
Our families are under pressure to conform to the world’s system. Seasoned women of faith have learned to cope with these pressures.
Their relationship with Christ has grown, along with their confidence in His word, and their list of victories.
Voices of experience confirm the truth and the character of a veteran disciple reflects God’s attributes in the world.
These “aged women” must teach and model the behaviors listed here.
And never fear or avoid passages that conflict with worldly thought.
