Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Download Think on these things
The believer in Christ must think differently.
The concentration of the mind is a crucial part of any person’s life. Our focus determines our attitudes and our beliefs and our actions.
When our thoughts are unwholesome and untrue, we point our lives in the wrong direction and follow paths that will destroy us.
When the mind is set on that which is right and true, that which can only come from God, we follow the way of life.
The list in this passage is worthy of study. It provides categories of thought that will do us extraordinary good, keeping us from the destructive.
We must define these categories and alter our thinking. And do so consistently.
